      @@Richie2015 excellent! Super interesting hardman Nosher, Big on the unlicensed & licensed boxing circuit & even was a sparing partner to Muhammad Ali, think he had over 70 fights, Like so many people from the boxing community of the time he did door, he has quite a fun story of refusing the Krays entry to a club he worked at & the krays left like gentlemen but Nosher said in his book even through they left without any issues he still didn't start his car for 3 weeks just incase. He also did acting & stunt work

    I lived round the corner at the time and the photo at the start of the video shows the front of the Cambridge Arms pub. The Cambridge Rooms was the single storey function room attached at the back of the pub. The photo is from 1963 or thereabouts I believe. The flyover in the later photo was built in 1968.

    Dead right at the end Tony. Selfish of them really, similar to what Sammy the Bull said about Gotti, he was GONE, on tape hanging himself for every crime in the book yet he wanted someone else to take the rap, true or not I don't know, StB over the years on his channel he exagerates and down right BS's according to them in the know so maybe its a thing that comes with being The Bawse.

    I was a teenager back in the sixties. I wasn't a serious villain but i was into a lot of naughty stuff just like everyone of my age in the area and although i never knew them personally everyone knew who were the top people and believe me before the Press started trying to portray London as Chicago in the 1920s the Krays weren't famous they were just another of the 😅many villains active in the capital. Ran London! Get real😅

  • @michaelharrison3602
    @michaelharrison3602 13 дней назад

    After the Krays went away it became obvious that many people saw them as glamorous people which must have annoyed the police and the authorities so it would make sense if they decided to smear their image. Just a thought. Tell the public that they weren't tough gangsters just a pair of violent psychopathic perverts wheres the glamour in that😅

    ., Im not David Teal and neither you or any else can know what happened to me and my wife in the sixties. That doesn't mean you should believe everything i say; especially if im being paid for it 😅

  • @michaelharrison3602

    Everyone and his dog who ever had any connection to the Krays has earned money writing about it so naturally any one going to a publisher saying "i had sex with Ronnie would be offered a deal he would then tell his brothers how easy itvwas so one of them says "yeah i had sex with Reggie can i have some money too" The publishers would then suggest putting in some crap about MI5 to make it more interesting. If mad Teddy was still alive I've no doubt he would have a book out called "i was the colonel's bum boy and be living of the royalties in comfortable retirement. The Teal brothers probably earned more from this book than they had ever seen in their lives. People need to bear in mind that all these books about the Krays are written by criminals and surprise surprise criminals aren't the most honest people. You can rob a bank and risk getting shot by the police or getting 15 years in prison for a few grand or write a book with no risks whatsoever 😅😅

    What I notice from this video and my own past places is that residential buildings are the most enduring. It’s often the only thing I recognise about places from 50 or 60 years ago. But for areas subject to slum clearances like the east end, it must be like your past has been erased. Just something you experience as you get older I suppose ! I was living round the corner from the Cambridge Rooms at the time the Krays were using it. I was too young to have known about them, but I think that place was largely unchanged externally until the late 90s. And I remember thinking what a dive it looked from the street - a bit sinister looking. Then of course I found out about it’s past, so I wasn’t wrong.
